The ‘Books and the City’ symposium aims to investigate the relationships between books and urban city spaces from a multidisciplinary perspective. To coincide with the symposium, an exhibition of books and printed matter from the Van Eyck collection is also planned.

Books and the City is a collaboration between Maastricht University, NL, the Van Eyck Academie, NL, and the University of Canterbury, NZ.
